Student Performances
The Paul Green School of Rock Music is the original performance-based after-school rock music program, established in Center City Philadelphia in 1998. Since its inception, the concept – and execution - of having students learn music by performing together and playing in live venues has proven so successful that satellite schools have been opened in neighboring counties, New Jersey, New York, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.
Our branch, in Lower Southampton, has been in operation since last November. We currently have over 50 students ranging in age from 8 to 18. Our students have performed the music of Pink Floyd, The Who, and AC/DC to sold-out crowds of over 200 people at the Moose Lodge in Doylestown. They have also had the opportunity to perform at the TLA and the Trocadero in Philadelphia.
