The Central Bucks Family YMCA will participate in Doylestown’s First Friday event this Friday, March 5, with a variety of entertaining events for the entire family.
Activities will be held at Central Bucks Family YMCA’s primary campus on Lower State Street and Memorial Drive.
Professional Storyteller Don Dougherty, from Classroom Adventure Stories, will take kids of all ages on an adventure. Join Don in Child Watch (formerly Kiddie Kare) 6:30-7:30 PM to see if his winter story will make it snow indoors or what other fantastic and magical treat he has for us all!
Bingo for the entire family will be played in Gym B from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
The Teen Center will be hosting a Pre-Teen Night! Community 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are invited to enjoy the amenities in the Teen Center from 7-10 PM. Bring your swim suit for a dip in the pool from 9-10 PM.
The Teen Center offers excellent programs throughout the year, including Teen Leaders, “band nights” featuring local bands, and homework help during the school year. All programs are provided in a safe environment with adult supervision.
In addition, Y Preschool teachers will be on hand for activities at Doylestown Bookshop from 6 to 7:30 PM. Included are arts & crafts, storytelling, and a guitar performance. Proceeds from sales all day will benefit the Y’s Financial Assistance program.
